For over twenty years, USA Motor & Machine has provided machine work to restore metal internal engine parts as well as repair and rebuild internal combustion engines.

Kent Shank started USA Motor & Machine in 1988 when a friend asked him to build a race engine. It began as one man operation, with a boring bar, Kwikway Head Center and a belt style surfacing machine. By turning out quality jobs at an affordable price, Kent gathered quite a following of loyal clientele.  As his business grew, Kent saw the need to expand and upgrade his machinery to quality, state of the art machinery.  Soon a crank grinder and balancing machine helped him expand to a full service machine shop. From that friend's race engine in 1988, USA Motor & Machine has grown many times over with a quality staff using state of the art machinery.  It is that quality work and loyal customer following that has made USA the premier shop that it is today. Currently there are four employees. Combined the they have over 100 years experience in a machine shop with unparalleled attention to detail and professionalism.

USA Motor & Machine builds competition and modified engines for various types of motorsports ranging from a 12 horsepower Honda competition engine to an air cooled Czechoslovakian V8 engine for a local museum restoration. USA motors are the choice of points champions at several racetracks.

The guys at USA like to make things go fast but that isn't the only thing that they do. USA Motor & Machine also repairs parts for street vehicles including the grocery getter, mom's taxi, and dad's honey do hauler. The professionals at USA work on street engines with the same attention to detail as they do competition engines, nothing leaves the shop without being the best that can be.
